Diary of a Wimpy Kid

The movie will be out soon. Very, very soon, I hope. But before it runs in theater, please do yourself a favor and drop by a bookstore to give it a peek. The film is an adaptation of a book of the same title. If you're feeling a bit under the weather and looking for a light-spirited book to give you just about the right amount of chuckle, this might just be the medicine you need.

It's a novel in cartoons! Making it a perfect choice for reluctant [young and old] readers and those who enjoy visuals over texts. Although, I guarantee you would enjoy both. :)

Here, let me quote the book's lead character, Greg Heffley, on what his diary is about or not:
"First of all, let me get something straight: This is a JOURNAL, not a diary."
"So just don't expect me to be all 'Dear Diary' this and 'Dear Diary' that."
"I'll be famous one day, but for now I'm stuck in middle school with a bunch of morons."

And FAMOUS he is now! :)

Ooops! Sorry.. thank you Krissy for reminding me to live. I totally missed it! Really, movie was out in April 2010? I still can't believe.. LOL

Hi! Thanks for your comment. Followed this blog btw. I hope you can follow back. ^^

I want to read the books too before watching the movie. It looks really interesting, especially with the doodles and everything. :)

Oh, is it the movie adaptation of the first book you were referring to? I've actually seen it already, it was released April 2010 :) Here's a post I wrote about it:

Btw, I'm 5 feet 3 inches tall, and yes I do find it hard to look for clothes that'll fit in stores like Kamiseta and Bayo. Sometimes I even shop at the Kids' Section :D
