From the Kitchen of Mary Grace

Yesterday, I once again wished I had discovered Mary Grace ages ago. There are a lot in their menu that I have yet to try so my visit from hereon would hopefully be more often.

I had passed by the alfresco cafe several times before without paying much attention to the details -its homey atmosphere; the wooden tables and cushioned chairs that speak warmth and ease; the welcoming coffee cups and saucers, that do not match colors they seem to be wrongly paired, that invite you to stay longer and admire while you sip your tea or hot chocolate; their location where you'll feel like it's a breakfast out on a balcony; their glass-topped tables that serve as message boards with notes and recommendations from previous customers. And if we are the same in how much we value customer service, then, I tell you that more than the food they serve, the staff is awesome! :)

About the food, I must warn you that no other cheese roll is to-die-for as theirs! It's most likely the bestseller although I bet that everything else on the menu is! You can enjoy them grilled or classic. The cheese melts as you savor its perfect union with the soft bread. I always have it grilled. It's a combination you will never forget! It's heavenly! So as the sans rival and the apple pie, which by the way, are homemade ones. Well, I'm not so sure but I guarantee you that it's like no other! And their iced teas are the ones to beat! :)
Oh well, I am just happy Mary Grace is nearby. :)

Find out if there's one around your neighborhood here.

 Happy weekend! :)

I like their cheese bread. :) I used to eat that when I was in the Philippines!
